Refugio de Lizara - Collado del Bozo - Esper - Tuca Blanca - Achar de Tortiella - Tobazo - Candanchú
The GR 11 to Candanchú crosses the Plano de Lizara, passing near the dolmen and following the traces of a trail that climbs to a pastoral hut. The L’Articuso ravine begins here, reaching the top of the Collado de Bozo (1,995 m). At the pass, the route leaves this stretch of the GR 11.1 that heads to Canfranc.
The route follows a trail that climbs through the Ribereta d'o Bozo, a long alpine valley that skirts the Liena d'o Bozo, heading up the peak to the Collado de Esper (2,278 m). From here, the route begins the steep descent through the Esper valley, through the dizzying “La Oreja” pass (spectacular geological formation that looks like a fold of rock lying on its side), to the start of the Gaba d'Esper ravine, filled with boulders, and continues to a grassy plain. The trail crosses the plain before starting the climb first to the d'a Tabla and then to the Tuca Blanca pass, heading to the first winter ski lifts in Candanchú. Follow the trail that heads down to the parking lot to cross the ski resort. The Refugio Pepe Garcés is located next to the resort, just a few metres from the heart of the village.

GR 11 TOMO I. EUSKADI, NAVARRA Y ARAGÓN
El GR 11 o Senda Pirenaica recorre los Pirineos desde el cabo Higer, frente al Atlántico, hasta el Cap de Creus, ante el Mediterráneo, a través de las comunidades de Euskadi, Navarra, Aragón y Cataluña, y el Principat de Andorra. Son más de 1.000 km por la montaña hispana más agreste, por los principales paisajes y ecosistemas de la cordillera pirenaica, atravesando los parques nacionales de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, y Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici, varios parques naturales y, en tierras aragonesas, los Monumentos Naturales de los Glaciares Pirenaicos.
Este primer volumen recoge las 22 etapas del GR 11 correspondientes a Euskadi, Navarra y Aragón.
